BACKGROUND: First, my most important attribute is that I am a mother of three beautiful children. Second, I love working out and trying to be the best i can be. I caught the cycling bug about 10 years ago and since then I have successfully completed several triathlons which were challenging but surprisingly motivational and fun! I find it rewarding to make a goal, work hard on achieving that goal, and then crossing the final finish line or seeing the finished results. I have been a certified Mad Dogg spinning instructor for 8 years. Beyond teaching spin I am a certified personal trainer. It is my belief that even though life can be challenging at times, If we make a commitment to take care of our minds, bodies and souls, we can be better partners, parents and friends.
WHY YOU WILL LOVE MY CLASS:My classes will be energetic, enthusiastic and highly motivating. My clients and students have told me that my love for coaching helps them to get excited about getting healthy. I want you to ride with a purpose. Heart rate zone training will help you do just that! Did I mention that you will enjoy the kick-butt music I play? You won't be looking at the clock in my class as the time will fly by. I look forward to meeting you, helping you meet your goals, and most importantly seeing you in class!

Angel Overbey

Angel Overbey; yogini, licensed massage therapist, trail runner, CrossFitter, snow bunny & personal trainer. I completed my first 200 HR training program in 2010 at Yoga ah! in Cincinnati. After teaching for almost three years, my desire to learn more for my students, and to deepen my practice, led me to the Bija Yoga School in Cincinnati at the Yoga Bar. In addition to a 200 hour yoga teacher training and a graduate of the SHI School of Medical Massage in Lebanon, Ohio. -I am available to see clients at my Centerville or Cincinnati office.

With a focus on the breath and bandhas, my classes are light-hearted and I strive to create a space that is welcoming to everyone. I  have a magical way of bringing a smile to your face and filling the room with laughter.
Endurance; The foundation of your fitness. This is not some Sunday stroll, this is meaningful work and the perfect mid-week class to fit in between interval days. With sufficient time in this training zone your body will ‘learn’ how to metabolize fats as fuel. Your body will build lean vascular tissue that is easily oxygenated and helps you recover quickly. We concentrate on physical as well as muscular endurance. Many Endurance classes are 60+ minutes in length, come prepared with an extra water bottle and some calories to keep you riding strong (gels, blocks, bars, etc..)
